Portfolio submission
Prepared for Scenic World Katoomba
One minute on who we are and what we protect.
The film includes broadcast news coverage of this category of protection. It is included as public-facing validation that the category is real and current — no broadcaster endorses Prodigy, and none is presented as doing so.
What we do
Site assessment
Exposure, terrain, access and water understood before anything is designed.
System design and drawings
Coverage set out on drawings, to the client’s standards where required.
Water-storage strategy
Storage sized and sited for the footprint actually available.
Pump and power configuration
Electric, diesel or redundant, and off-grid where there is no mains supply.
Automation and controls
Activation and running without someone on site at a valve.
Installation and integration
Installed and tied into the structures and services present.
Commissioning
Proven to operate before it is handed over.
Ongoing support and annual maintenance
Continuing support, with annual maintenance to support insurance compliance.
Why this portfolio matters to Scenic World
Scenic World Katoomba is a visitor-facing mountain attraction in heritage-listed, dense forest. The designs are individual, standalone projects, linked together to increase overall bushfire resilience. The relevant experience is not a brochure of products — it is delivered systems on Australian sites of comparable difficulty, designed and installed end to end.
The conditions match
Mountain terrain, forested surrounds, continuous public presence, and assets that cannot rely on mains power — the conditions Scenic World operates in are the conditions this work was designed and delivered in.
The evidence follows
Seven Australian projects with real design drawings across conservation, commercial, government infrastructure, tourism and complex private sites; Canadian visitor attractions of the same asset type; and five referees.
Australian portfolio at a glance
Each was designed for terrain, exposure and access problems Scenic World will recognise — forested mountain country, no mains supply to rely on, and assets that had to keep operating throughout.

Commercial and infrastructure
Round House Reserve
A conservation trust’s architect-designed building on an exposed ridge, with no mains power and ground too hard for standard tank pads.
A00319 · detail, page 06

Marshall Cabinets
A trading business whose revenue sits inside one shed: commercial-scale coverage carrying a workshop and a residence on a single designed system.
A00417 · detail, page 09

South East Water / ABK JV
Work delivered inside a live infrastructure site — drawn in the client’s own title block, to their standards, and issued for construction.
A00425 · detail, page 11

Tourism
Nowhere Snowy Mountains
The nearest analogue in the portfolio: a paying-visitor estate in alpine terrain, too spread out for one system, so it was designed as two.
A00378 · detail, page 13

Complex private
Lower Portland, NSW
Three separate structures on one system, with both diesel and electric pumping — so no single pump or power source can take the protection down.
A00311 · detail, page 15

Greendale, VIC
Off-grid, so the protection had to cover the property’s own solar array — the asset the power supply itself depends on. Filmed by Channel 10.
A00341 · detail, page 16

Ruffy, VIC
The same automation and off-grid design at single-building scale — included to show the discipline is consistent, not reserved for large jobs.
A00447 · detail, page 17
Four contexts, one team
Conservation, manufacturing, government infrastructure, tourism and remote private assets — designed, supplied and installed by one team.
Each card shows a detail of that project’s real design drawing; the full sheet is shown at the page named on the card.
Featured project
Bush Heritage Australia
An 88-hectare conservation property in central Victoria, with a Gregory Burgess-designed round house sitting on the ridge.
SourceBush Heritage Australia — Round Housebushheritage.org.au

Round House — design read
Scope
Coverage is set out as circles across the protected footprint, drawn over aerial site imagery — so the curtain is designed against the real terrain rather than a generic footprint.
Round House — drone footage
Aerial footage of the Round House Reserve site, supplied for this submission and playing here in the deck.
Featured project
Marshall Cabinets — Tallarook, Victoria
Two structures protected on one designed system: a commercial workshop and the residence.

Marshall Cabinets — design read
Scope
The pair of plates shows the whole property as one hydraulic problem, rather than two unrelated installations.
Featured project · government asset upgrade
ABK Joint Venture — delivering major South East Water infrastructure
A protection system associated with a government asset upgrade, delivered for the joint venture carrying out the works.

Infrastructure discipline
Working to client drawing standards
The drawing is produced in the client’s format and title block, not in a supplier’s own template.
Coordinating with existing services
The design is set out around services already present on the site.
Staged tie-ins
Connections are planned as stages rather than as a single shutdown.
Documented site controls
The works sit inside the compliance, safety documentation and management systems the site requires.
Tourism relevance
Nowhere Alpine Estate — Snowy Mountains, NSW
A tourism and accommodation asset in alpine country: three structures carried across two independent systems.
This drawing predates the current design process, and is presented as the as-built record for the project rather than as an example of the current drawing standard.
SourceNowhere Snowy Mountainsnowheresnowymountains.com.au

Snowy Mountains — the second system
The estate is not carried on one system. This is the as-built record of the second, drawn separately because it protects its own structures and stands on its own pumping.
Complex private · New South Wales
Three separate structures protected on one designed system, each fully automated, with both diesel and electric pumping so the system does not depend on a single pump or a single power source.
Private property, identified by project code and region only — no client name and no address appears on this page. A design drawing is shown rather than photography because site photography is only used with the owner’s permission.
Complex private · Victoria
Two protected structures on an automated off-grid electric water curtain — one of them the property’s own solar system, which is the asset the power supply itself depends on.
Private property, identified by project code and region only. The film and broadcast media shown later were recorded at this property with the owner’s participation; the drawing is shown here because it is the design record.
Complex private · Victoria
One protected structure on an automated off-grid electric water curtain — the same design discipline as the multi-structure systems, at single-building scale.
Private property, identified by project code and region only — no client name and no address appears on this page. A design drawing is shown rather than photography because site photography is only used with the owner’s permission.
The work on film · A00341 · A00378
A Prodigy project film and a Channel 10 news segment, both recorded at the Greendale property (A00341) — and site footage from the Snowy Mountains estate (A00378). All three play here in the deck.
Presented as public-facing validation that this category of protection is newsworthy and real. It is not an endorsement of Prodigy by any broadcaster, and is not offered as one. The Snowy Mountains footage is site footage of that project supplied by the client team, and nothing beyond that is claimed from it.

Prodigy exterior wildfire sprinkler systems use roof-mounted nozzles to create a 360-degree humidity bubble around structures. The system includes ember detection sensors, remote smartphone activation, and programmable cycle times. Water saturates the building envelope — roof, walls, eaves, and surrounding vegetation — preventing ember ignition and reducing radiant heat absorption.
California wildfire protection and sprinkler systems. Colorado wildfire defence. Oregon and Washington fire protection. British Columbia wildfire sprinklers — FireSmart compliant. Alberta wildfire defence. Ontario fire protection systems. Australian bushfire protection — BAL-rated sprinkler systems for NSW, Victoria, and Queensland.
Ember attack is the number one cause of home destruction during wildfires. Embers can travel over 20 kilometres ahead of the fire front at temperatures of 1,200°C. Up to 90% of homes lost in wildfires are destroyed by ember attack, not direct flames. Prodigy exterior sprinkler systems neutralise embers on contact.
A permanent wildfire sprinkler system can help maintain property insurance coverage in fire-prone areas where insurers are withdrawing. Many insurers offer premium discounts for properties with permanent wildfire protection. Systems increase property value and transfer to new owners at point of sale.
