Alerts notify users when wildfires are detected near their monitored properties, when fires are approaching, or when evacuation zones are activated. Message frequency varies based on real-time wildfire activity near the user's registered property.

Users opt in to receive SMS alerts exclusively through the Prodigy Wildfire mobile application, available on:

The opt-in process requires users to:

2. 2Navigate to Account > Alert Channels > SMS Alerts
3. 3Toggle on SMS Alerts
4. 4Check an unchecked-by-default consent checkbox explicitly agreeing to receive recurring automated wildfire alert text messages
5. 5Enter their phone number with country code and save to confirm

SMS alerts are disabled by default and require explicit user action to enable. Consent is not required to purchase any goods or services.

Message frequency varies. Users receive alerts only when wildfire activity is detected near their monitored property. During active fire events, users may receive multiple messages per day. During periods of no fire activity, users may receive no messages.
